Nishith Desai opens Park Avenue office

Nishith Desai Associates, the Indian law firm, has opened an office on Park Avenue in New York.

Mansi Seth, a specialist in international tax, funds and M&A work who also advises clients in the financial services, technology, media, communications and pharmaceutical sectors, will head the firm's eighth office worldwide and third in the US. It will be Seth's second stint at the firm, having worked in the Mumbai office for five years between 2007 and 2012. She has been with PwC in New York for the last two years, after completing an LLM in international taxation at Georgetown University.
