Raisa is a Deloitte Russia partner and the of legal services leader in the CIS. She has been providing tax and legal services since 1994 combining both industry and Big 4 experience.

Over the course of her career, Raisa has led an unparalleled number of complicated tax litigation projects in a variety of industries. She has represented clients in more than 500 tax disputes at all levels, including Russian Supreme and Supreme Commercial Courts and achieved a phenomenal success record of 99%. Raisa has also chaired Deloitte Russia's internal technical group responsible for developing legal positions.

She is a frequent speaker on various tax controversy topics.

Raisa earned a master's degree in law from Moscow State Law Academy and a PhD in financial law. Raisa speaks English.

Vladislav Bozhenkov is a senior associate in PwC Legal's tax dispute resolution practice. With more than 16 years of experience in Russian tax law, he has helped clients resolve more than 100 tax disputes. Maria Mikhaylova is a senior associate in PwC Legal's tax dispute resolution group.

She has extensive experience in tax matters and has represented clients in more than 50 cases over the past three years. Yana Proskurina is the head of PwC Legal's tax dispute resolution practice. The group has successfully led hundreds of tax dispute cases, achieving a win rate of 98% while also preventing a significant number of tax disputes from going to court.

Yana has more than 14 years of experience in tax dispute resolution, serving clients in a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, automotive, oil and gas and other multinational and Russian companies. Her areas of specialisation include consulting on various tax matters; representing clients at the pre-trial (administrative) stage of tax disputes, including drafting responses to tax office requests and letters of disagreement with (objections to) acts of the tax authorities, participating in reviews of tax audit materials and representing clients in arbitration courts at all stages of the litigation process.

Yana's in-depth approach and passion for client service has helped her develop a successful track record of wins in hundreds of tax disputes. She has also led complex tax consulting projects and customs disputes.

She participates in nearly all of the tax dispute resolution group's projects and trials. With her superior knowledge and diversified experience, she provides solid support for all members of her team.

Yana is an active member of the IFA and serves on the Taxation Committee of the Association of European Businesses (AEB).

Over the past year, Yana and her team have helped their clients to resolve more than 40 disputes at the pre-litigation and litigation stages; the total disputed amount was in excess of $150 million.

Natalia has developed and now leads the transfer pricing group in the tax and legal department of KPMG Russia

The transfer pricing group Natalia leads is the largest practice in Russia with more than 60 professionals based in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Nizhniy Novgorod and Ekaterinburg.

Natalia has a vast amount of experience working on highly technical, complex and advanced transfer pricing projects. Such projects include transfer pricing compliance services, obtaining advance pricing agreements (APAs), preparing global TP documentation, analysing supply chains, providing transformation services, and delivering cost allocation services, among others.

Natalia assisted clients in concluding two APAs within the first launch of the APA programme in Russia, the use of which still tends to be very exclusive.

Studies prepared by the transfer pricing group led by Natalia were successfully used during the first audits that took place under new national transfer pricing legislation, as well as to defend taxpayers during litigation under the old transfer pricing rules. Natalia's team works effectively with a specialised tax dispute resolution team which helps clients to defend transfer prices via the use of administrative procedures and appeals in the courts.

Natalia's team was chosen as a leading transfer pricing adviser responsible for planning and compliance for Russian companies operating globally. Natalia's team was able to launch and lead compliance processes in more than 25 jurisdictions for four Russian groups.

Natalia's client portfolio includes major Russian and multinational firms operating in a vast number of industries, such as in the oil and gas, construction, chemicals, consumer goods, pharmaceutical, IT and telecommunications, metals and mining, transportation, and food, among others.

Natalia's team continuously invests in IT to develop innovative products that make the compliance process cost and time efficient. The transfer pricing group led by Natalia employs dedicated IT professionals who are responsible for the development and support of IT solutions, for example, Natalia's team developed IT tool to prepare TP notifications, enabling KPMG to occupy a leading position in this segment.
