Green to head financial services and tax practice at Squire Patton Boggs

Squire Patton Boggs has appointed Micah Green as chairman of its financial services and tax practice.

Green has worked for the last three decades with the key policy makers and legislators who have made an impact on the law and regulation of the financial services sectors, financial products and capital markets. He was president and co-chief executive officer of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association before joining Patton Boggs in 2007. Squire Sanders and Patton Boggs merged on June 1 this year.

The Squire Patton Boggs financial services and tax team comprises attorneys and policy advisers formerly associated with relevant federal agencies, congressional committees and the private sector.
