Finnish law firm Borenius has strengthened its tax practice with the promotion of Einari Karhu and Heikki Wahlroos to partners.

Einari Karhu has been with Borenius since 2008, after joining the firm from Finland’s Ministry of Finance. Heikki Wahlroos previously worked for Deloitte and French firm Fidal, before moving on to Borenius in 2009.

Karhu and Wahlroos are experienced in tax disputes concerning transfer pricing and international tax planning, and domestic and international taxation.

Wahlroos has experience in advising on tax for M&A, and in private equity and venture capital. He also advises on cross-border taxation of executives and personal income tax.
