As a lawyer and an economist, O’Leary brings impressive expertise to the discussion whether she is working with businesses, governments, international organisations or NGOs. She has become a prominent voice in the media on carbon tax advocacy in maritime sectors.
Opportunity Green works closely with the UN’s International Maritime Organization (IMO) to try to find a path towards decarbonisation of the shipping industry. Her team works with governments of small island nations and developing countries to help meet the IMO’s climate objectives.
