In-house tax professionals can play an important role in educating colleagues about incentives designed to nudge individual and corporate behaviour towards a reduced carbon footprint

As more businesses incorporate environmental sustainability into their defined purpose, in-house tax functions can help facilitate reduced carbon emissions provided they have the support of senior management, says Sandy Markwick, head of the Winmark Tax Director Network.
