Carlos leads the Brazilian transfer pricing team at Deloitte Brazil, which has been recognised by various institutions for several years as the best transfer pricing team in the country. In the transfer pricing area, in which he has been working since 1999, he provides services to local, European, Asian, Latin, and North-American clients operating in industries such as automobile, energy, chemical, pharmaceutical, and electronic.
Carlos has more than 34 years of professional experience, including accounting audit and corporate tax, besides transfer pricing services. In 2001, he was transferred to the Mexico City office to work with transfer pricing projects under the OECD approach, matching Brazilian and international rules.
Carlos has authored various articles on transfer pricing for reputable magazines, newspapers, and other publications of national and international circulation. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Faculdade de Ciências Econômicas de São Paulo – Fundação Álvares Penteado, a bachelor’s degree in law from Universidade Paulista, and an MBA from Fundação Getulio Vargas.
