Daniel Velazquez-Nunez

Daniel is a managing director in Deloitte’s US Transfer Pricing group. He has worked in Deloitte’s Washington, DC, and Philadelphia offices, and is now based in Silicon Valley.

Daniel has more than 15 years of transfer pricing experience, with ten years of experience serving Silicon Valley clients and the technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) industry, with a focus on blockchain and digital payment technologies. He complements this perspective with ample experience in intangible property migration, supply chain optimisation, and M&A due diligence across multiple industries, including life sciences, industrial products, and retail. Daniel has a successful track record of executing IP migration and integration projects under atypical fact patterns, and serves some of the largest technology players in Silicon Valley.

Daniel received a PhD in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, and is a native Spanish speaker with government experience in economic deregulation. He is a published author, and has conducted research on Mexico’s energy industry, and has also been an instructor for public policy.
