Francisco Díaz
Francisco has been with Deloitte for more than 18 years in the global transfer pricing (TP) practice and has tax and TP experience in Mexico across a variety of industries, with the manufacturing industry his primary area of expertise.
His fields of competence include TP planning and optimisation, compliance, and consulting on implementation and other matters. Francisco’s expertise includes Mexican TP study documentation to prevent double taxation and permanent establishment designation for maquiladoras and non-maquiladoras; advance pricing agreements; maquiladora issues such as compliance options, preliminary analysis, and planning memos to benchmark a company’s profitability; non-maquila analysis; and BEPS.
Francisco has a master’s degree in economics with a specialisation in finance from the University of Texas at El Paso. In addition, he has a postgraduate certification in human development from the Universidad Iberoamericana. Francisco is a diversity, equity, and inclusion advocate and is part of the faculty for technical and soft-skill programmes at Deloitte University D.
