Garth Roark

Garth is a principal in KPMG’s national tax technology and innovations practice (Ignition). He consults with a broad range of companies on the development of technology-enabled strategies and solutions focused on driving operational improvement within the tax function. Garth works with businesses to design and implement leading tax practices related to intelligent automation, data and analytics, and process improvement to enhance efficiency, reduce risks, and enable better operational alignment.

He was also a member of KPMG’s state and local tax group and served as the national leader of KPMG’s reverse sales and use audit services group. Garth has over 20 years of experience consulting with businesses across a variety of industries on indirect tax, multi-state, technology, and data-related tax issues.
