Georgiana is a partner in Ernst & Young Service S.r.l., leading the indirect tax practice and tax technology projects. She is actively involved in various initiatives that have led to changes in the Romanian VAT legislation, including in the adoption of EU acquis in the VAT field upon Romania’s EU accession. Recently, Georgiana coordinated the tax team assisting the National Agency for Fiscal Administration with implementation of the standard audit file for tax (SAF-T) in Romania. She is involved in working groups with the Ministry of Finance regarding the adoption of e-invoicing and e-transport reporting.
Georgiana holds an MSc in taxation degree from Oxford University Faculty of Law. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and management information systems from the Academy of Economic Studies Bucharest, and a bachelor’s degree in management and business administration from the French-Romanian Institute – Auvergne University, IUP Clermont Ferrand.
