Ichwan is a tax partner and the head of the tax practice at RSM Indonesia, with 25 years’ experience. He provides tax advisory services to a wide range of multinational and domestic companies, mostly in the energy sector.
Ichwan obtained his master’s degree in international tax law from the International Tax Centre, Leiden University, the Netherlands, and his master’s degree in business administration from Prasetiya Mulya Business School, Indonesia. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in law from the Faculty of Law at the University of Indonesia, where he is now pursuing a PhD in international tax law.
Ichwan is a registered tax consultant, a licensed advocate with the Indonesian Bar Association (Peradi), and a registered tax attorney at the Indonesian Tax Court. He is the chair of the International Fiscal Association’s Indonesian branch and its Asia-Pacific region.
