Matt Andrew
As the Asia-Pacific tax policy leader, Matt is responsible for the responses to the global tax policy changes in Asia-Pacific. This includes coordinating and communicating jurisdictional tax policy changes across the region so multinational corporations are aware of them, as well as developing tax-related thought leadership. Matt is working to deepen governmental relationships forged during his time at the OECD and his previous 14 years at EY by holding regular discussions with Asia-Pacific tax authorities and tax policymakers.
During his time at the OECD, Matt was the head of the Tax Treaty, Transfer Pricing and Financial Transactions Division. He played a key leadership role in the development of the tax response to the digital economy, specifically pillar one.
Matt received his Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, and Bachelor of Laws from Waikato University and his Master of Science (Taxation) from Oxford University.
