Rafael Parra

Rafael is a tax and legal services partner specialising in transfer pricing (TP). With experience in TP since 2003, he has a robust background in defending against tax audits, providing consulting and planning services, and ensuring compliance with formal TP obligations.

Rafael has participated in numerous defence projects during tax administration audits and has experience in global and regional documentation work, as well as value chain transformation. His expertise spans various aspects of TP, including annual compliance projects and strategic consulting.

Rafael holds a degree in economics and a finance specialisation from Universidad del Rosario and a tax specialisation from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. He is also certified with an International Financial Reporting Standards diploma and as an ISO 9001:2015 comprehensive internal auditor, with additional certifications in ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018. Rafael is an instructor for the TP module in the tax law specialisation at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and an undergraduate professor of financial mathematics. He regularly speaks and lectures on TP topics.
