Ranjeet Mahtani is an advocate and a chartered accountant based in Mumbai. He advises on all taxation issues and focuses on GST, customs duty, and the foreign trade policy of India as well as central excise duty, sales taxes and VAT, service tax, and entertainment taxes. More recently, Ranjeet led diverse GST assignments involving government advocacy (representation), impact analysis, and transition support for clients in a variety of sectors.

Ranjeet has worked in several sectors including entertainment, banking and insurance, logistics, manufacturing, oil and gas, shipping, and telecommunications. He routinely authors articles and columns and is regularly called upon to speak at technical conferences and seminars on taxation.

Prior to joining Dhruva, Ranjeet was a partner at Economic Laws Practice (ELP) and was with a member firm of Deloitte, Haskins & Sells.
