He also serves as a regional or global lead transfer pricing advisor for clients across three major financial services hubs: Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
Samuel is a bilingual (English–Japanese) transfer pricing professional with 20-plus years of advisory and in-house experience. He advises clients on transfer pricing and permanent establishment strategy, planning, documentation, risk assessments, advance pricing arrangements, in-house transfer pricing governance, systems, controls, and reporting. Samuel focuses on transfer pricing for financial services industry clients and intercompany treasury issues for all types of clients.
Samuel regularly speaks at transfer pricing and tax conferences in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, New York, and London. He is active with several financial services industry associations and has contributed articles to the BNA Transfer Pricing Report and other publications.
