Sérgio is an associate director in Deloitte UK’s transfer pricing team based in London, having supported multinational enterprises (MNEs) in setting up and managing their transfer pricing policies for the past 14 years.
His international experience in the energy and resources sector is wide ranging and includes renewables, exploration and production, mining, refining and marketing, commodities trading, and shipping. Sérgio has worked with a varied array of clients, including international energy supermajors, national energy companies, energy service companies, and more regionally focused MNEs.
His professional experience has been focused on helping energy groups to devise transfer pricing policies, review internal pricing procedures, implement operational controls for their intragroup transactions, and manage effectively any business restructurings. Sérgio has also assisted companies in advance pricing agreement negotiations, transfer pricing disputes, and audits. He also has experience with global implementation of transfer pricing models and value chain alignment processes involving intellectual property.
