Shefali Shah

Shefali is a director in the transfer pricing practice at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP. She has over 15 years’ experience in transfer pricing and has advised multinational clients on end-to-end transfer pricing solutions including value chain advisory, setting up transfer pricing policies, BEPS, and Indian and global documentation.

Shefali also has rich experience in transfer pricing dispute resolutions, including advance pricing agreements, and resolving litigation before various forums. Her industry expertise is in financial services, but she has served multinational corporations in various industries, such as life sciences and healthcare, IT/IT-enabled services, chemicals, and logistics.

Shefali is a member of Deloitte India’s WIN Council and a core team member of the Women of IFA Network. She has written numerous articles/chapters for leading newspapers and publications, such as The Economic Times, Hindu Business Line, ITR, BNA, the Bombay Chartered Accountant’s Society, and the Chamber of Tax Consultants. Shefali is a lawyer by qualification and holds an MBA degree (finance) and a Master’s in Economics.
