Thomas Zellweger

Thomas majored in law at the University of Zurich, was admitted to the Swiss Bar in 2015, and is a certified Swiss tax expert. Prior to joining Tax Partner in 2019, he was a tax lawyer at an international law firm in Zurich and worked as a tax consultant in a trust company, as well as in a ‘big four’ in Zurich.

Thomas advises clients in all aspects of national and international tax law, from corporate tax law to tax planning for private clients, and represents clients in front of courts and tax authorities. Besides national and international corporate tax law, his activities are also focused on the taxation of collective investment schemes. Thomas is a lecturer on the taxation of collective investment schemes at AZEK, the Swiss Training Centre for Investment Professionals, and at the Fund Academy on the Swiss Fund Officer course.
