Yong Chan Lee

Yong Chan is a partner and national leader of the global transfer pricing group at Deloitte Korea. He has 30 years’ experience in tax and has specialised in transfer pricing for 25 years. Before joining Deloitte, Yong Chan worked for the National Tax Service (NTS) for 15 years.

He provides professional services to multinational companies regarding a broad spectrum of transfer pricing matters, including tax audit defence, advance pricing agreements and mutual agreement procedures, global transfer pricing policy/planning, and international tax issues.

Yong Chan was appointed by the Korean Ministry of Economy and Finance and the NTS as a member of the BEPS Advisory Centre and the Digital Tax Advisory Committee. He is a US certified public accountant and a doctor of tax studies (Hongik University, South Korea), and he holds an MSc in accounting and finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science and an MBA from the University of Birmingham, UK.
